Greg and Charlotte met in Indiana while taping a Gaither video. It was love at first sight. They started dating in March of 1995 and were married in December of the same year. Greg and Charlotte have a little boy named Landon, with a new baby on the way.

Charlotte was born and raised in Elkton, Maryland. She is one of three children. Though she comes from a musical family, she did not start singing until she was fourteen. A group from her church asked her to join them. She agreed and sang with them for two years. When she was seventeen she was asked to sing soprano for the Nelons. She sang with the Nelons for five years. 

Greg is from Pontotoc, Mississippi. He grew up loving sports and music. he won many awards in high school for football. Like Charlotte, he got a late start in music. He didn't start playing the drums until he was sixteen. He continued to play through college and always dreamed of playing professionally. That dream was realized in 1994. Jeff Easter asked Doug Riley if he knew of a good drummer. Doug and Greg have been best friends since they were boys and Greg asked Doug to keep him in mind if he heard of any openings. Jeff called and he and Sheri hired Greg without hearing him play. They said they just has a peace about hiring him.

Charlotte sang with the Nelons until the end of March 1996. She then started helping Sheri in the office and would do anything that needed to be done on the weekends. A few months later Jeff and Sheri put her to work singing. She has been singing the third part with Jeff and Sheri ever since. "We love being with Jeff and Sheri. We get to do what we love to do and be together all the time."

In 1998 they bought their first home in Lincolnton, Georgia. Since that time they have been remodeling. Charlotte says it's somewhat of a hobby for her. Greg on the other hand has different ideas when it comes to hobbies. He loves to hunt, fish and watch Mississippi State football. He also loves to read. That is one thing he has in common with Sheri. They are the bookworms on the bus. He also collects John Deer tractors. Not the big kind you can actually ride, but the miniature kind, "If he collected the big ones, we would be in trouble". Charlotte has been collecting angels for about seven years. She has a beautiful collection many of which have been given to her by friends across the country.

When not on the road, Greg and Charlotte have responsibilities at home. Charlotte still helps in the office and takes care of the inventory. Greg helps Jeff keep the bus in good shape. He also does a lot of session work and sells tee shirts. Charlotte does session work too. Just recently she did harmony vocals for Janet Paschal's new project. Charlotte has three solo projects and will soon be working on a fourth.

Greg and Charlotte feel they are very blessed. "We feel we have been given a very rare gift and we try not to take it for granted."
